Parking in Casa Batllo - Barcelona

The façade of the building is one of the most important pieces of all Gaudí’s work. It is made up of a combination of stone and stained glass windows. Together they create waves and curves that give this building its originality and sense of fantasy, setting it apart from the other buildings in the area.

But the façade is not the only unusual part of this building, with its curved roof in imitation of an animal’s back. On the roof, you can see a number of large, different coloured spherical elements.

Casa Batlló is built around an inner courtyard clad in different shades of blue tiles. Inside the house, you can visit the main hall that once served as a dining room for the Batlló family. Today, the building is a Unesco World Heritage Site and is open to the public. On summer nights, jazz concerts are held on its rooftop; a cultural event you really don’t want to miss.

The entire building is a feast for the eyes, both during the day and at night. If you decide to visit, it’s a good idea to park your car in one of our Saba car parks that is very close to Casa Batlló and is open 24 hours a day.
